I
began writing as a child and always dreamed of writing a book, but I had no idea how. After some discouragement at school I dropped the idea. However, in my 30s, I got the writing bug again and it wouldn't leave me. I spent my days in the 808 section of the library reading everything from Writer's Digest.

I also met Jerry Jenkins. Jerry said, "I can help you do this, but it'll be painful." Oh was he right, on both counts. My first book was published in 1995, Spiritually Correct Bedtime Stories. My 67th book was published in 2008, Dogwood. Book #68 is June Bug.

For Dogwood, I wrote a story about the small town I'm from in West Virginia, changing the name to Dogwood. There are some really great people in small towns. But small towns have long memories and in this locale, the people have a hard time forgiving Will Hatfield for what he did... well, that's just the beginning of a story that I think will touch your heart. I'd love to tell you more about the story of Dogwood, and I know just the way to do that! So click here and follow me!

As for June Bug, that story came to me, believe it or not, while watching an old RV chug into our local Walmart parking lot! I had this idea of a little girl stepping out of an RV one morning and walking into the store, only to find a picture of herself on the wall of missing children... and that became the beginning of a story of love and redemption and sacrifice that I truly think you'll enjoy.  Wait, I think I see June Bug now, just across the website!  I'd love for you to meet this special little girl, so just click here and let's go pay her a visit!
